Emotion-regulation difficulties affect many adolescents with ADHD, yet accessible, in-the-moment support has been scarce. Because teens already live much of their lives through phones and wearables, digital health interventions can be embedded directly into daily life — precisely where regulation is hardest. This narrative review surveys the emerging landscape and distills what promising, developmentally appropriate digital emotion-regulation support could look like, offering a practical guide for anyone designing tools in this space.
