Its not about Us!

We are trying to shift how the world responds to emotional dysregulation.

We’re here to build a world where no child is punished for a nervous system they don’t yet know how to steer, and where every family, care provider, and clinician has a clear, shared window into that child’s inner state.

In that future, crises are rarer, interventions are earlier, and the data that once lived in research papers becomes a living part of how care is delivered everywhere.

The Challenge

We ask kids with ADHD, ASD, and anxiety to “self-regulate” while giving them almost no tools to understand what is happening inside their own bodies. Caregivers, teachers, and clinicians are often responding to explosions they didn’t see coming, making judgment calls in seconds with incomplete information, and then carrying the guilt and fallout afterward.

Emotional arousal is invisible until it isn’t, until a child melts down, gets suspended, loses a friend, or is labeled a problem. Existing systems wait for that breaking point. Most tools are subjective, retrospective, or trapped in the clinic. No one has put real-time, objective, wearable-based arousal data directly into the hands of kids, families, and the community of care in a way that is simple, scalable, and humane.

Attune exists to change that.

What we Do

Attune uses wearable sensing, thoughtful software, and human‑centred design to make emotional arousal visible and actionable, so that kids, families, and clinicians can see escalation early and respond with coping strategies, empathy, skill, and confidence.

We know that how we do this matters - a small set of non‑negotiable beliefs guide our every decision:

  • Dignity first: Children are not their diagnoses and not their hardest moments. We design so they feel seen and supported, not surveilled.

  • Families are partners, not afterthoughts: Parents and caregivers deserve tools, not blame. We build for them as much as for users and clinicians.

  • Truth over stories: Objective signals plus lived context beat assumptions. Data is there to support better judgment, not replace it.

  • Safety and trust by design: Privacy and security are table stakes, not features.

  • Ethically innovative: We honour the science, but responsibly ship where it helps real people today.

  • Real‑world impact over perfection: We can’t be perfect but equally we must not harm.

  • Accessibility over elitism: The kids who need this most are often the least resourced.

A Larger, Shared Purpose

We are not just building a product. We are trying to shift how the world responds to emotional dysregulation.

We want families who feel resourced instead of ashamed, and kids who grow up understanding their own bodies and brains rather than fearing them.

We want schools where principals and teachers have tools to help in the moment, not just write incident reports after.

We want clinics where treatment decisions are grounded in how kids live between appointments, not just in 50‑minute snapshots, where medication efficacy is substantiated in the data not in subjective observations.

If we do this right, Attune doesn’t just help one child at a time, it helps their families and communities and every individual who struggles with emotional overload.

If you are a parent, clinician, educator, builder, or investor who refuses to accept the status quo for these kids, We’re asking you to join us. Let’s give them - and the people who love them - better tools, earlier signals, and kinder outcomes.
